Since a small group of friends got together in 1988 to form Crusaid Scotland the organisation has grown and prospered but most importantly has raised almost £1 million. the money raised has been used to help projects across the country working to help those affected by HIV and AIDS and to prevent the spread of the virus.
There have been many large, national projects and even more smaller ones which operate at a local level. The projects have varied not only in size, but also in the radical way in which they have dealt with education and care. The approaches to care and prevention have changed enormously and we have been able to support many initiatives which are at the vanguard of the fight and will continue to do so.
The Individual Hardship Fund is at the core of our operations and remains unique in its ability to help those in need quickly and compassionately.
